Back into the swing of things:
After a break from the second weekend in December until the third in January, and a transition from trailer to Sprinter van, it was tough to get our act together again for the first show of the year in Chantilly, Virginia. We forgot all of our packaging bags, our stylus, and a few other odds and ends, but overall the show was great!
We are now gearing up for the Buyers Market of American Craft show in Philadelphia, PA in February. We will be featuring new work in our booth and hoping that we can expand the number of stores and galleries in which you can find us!
Back to making inventory, brochure layouts, and booth designs... --fingers crossed!

Busy Bees:
Well it is October and we haven't written since March... Needless to say the last few months have been a whirlwind of long days and hard work.
We did manage to get picked up by Uncommon Goods, a fabulous online/snail mail art shop that sells everything high design and awesome, and we are extremely excited to do business with them.
We have begun a relationship with a few other places, too, such as the Honolulu Museum of Art in Hawaii -- we've never sent our work to HI before, and it is thrilling to have it travel so far.
Our studio is up and running, finally. There are some minor electrical to-dos but the waiting game is apparently how the building owner works around here. A dream come true... HOT GLASS IN OUR VERY OWN STUDIO!
Now it is back to work and weekend shows, preparing for the winter holidays. And, of course, applying to all of next years shows (yes, you have to do it a year early!). We plan attend the Buyers Market of American Craft and the American Craft Council shows and hope to gain more wholesale business. Fingers crossed!

Happy New Year!
Delish Glass will have it's third birthday this May. We have taken the "off-season" (January & February) to begin renovations and construction on our studio. Soon we will be able to offer classes in both lamp working and blown glass. Stay tuned!

Last week we worked on our best selling vase style, our Chalcedony Impasto's Series, but we are glad to say they are all sold again. We will make a few more of them this week in preparation for this weekends show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. We hope to see you there. This marks our first show ever in Virginia.
